USS DuPage Reunion

   Our 2004 reunion was held at the Embassy Suites in Lisle, Illinois.  It seemed fitting that our reunion be located in the County that our ship was named after, "DuPage County".  We had 15 shipmates make this year's reunion along with friends and family.

   Dinner had over 60 attendees which included shipmates, spouses, family, local dignitaries from the DuPage County Convention and Visitor's Bureau, the DuPage County Historical Society, the Lisle Fire Chief and color guard, along with a representative from the Mayor's office.  Special recognition was given to the USS DuPage Society by the Convention and Visitor's Bureau commemorating September 11, 2004 as USS DuPage Day.
