At the conclusion of DuPage’s first year of operation (1943/44), the following facts were noted:

Doctors and Corpsmen treated 670 patients

The Dentist saw 2,128 patients, filling 995 cavities and pulling 229 teeth

358,707 meals were served at a value of $230,216.74, it cost $.64 to feed a trooper one meal

255 Movies, totaling 2,065,500 feet of film were shown

329,462 packages of cigarettes were sold

Sailors spent $15,300 to buy 36,500 gallons of Coca-Cola
